PHILIPPINE PLANNING JOURNAL (PPJ)

The University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning (UP SURP) through the support of the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC), line with its efforts to elevate the practice of urban and regional planning in the country, digitized the articles from the Philippine Planning Journal (PPJ) into electronic files in order to:

  • increase the visibility and readership of scholarly articles in the PPJ by opening it to a wider audience both local and abroad (educators, researchers, students and professionals); and
  • facilitate digital archiving and preservation of these materials for future use

The PPJ was the official journal of then UP Institute of Planning (now UP School of Urban and Regional Planning), published semi-annually from 1969 to 1999. To learn about the past three decades of Philippine planning, visit: Philippine Planning Journal
