The training program serves as an orientation-cum-introductory course in the basic concepts, processes and methodlologies of urban and regional planning. The course also provides updates on the latest approaches, tools and techniques in the profession.

   The five-day training program includes topics on the following: The Philippine Planning System, Population and Social Development, Local Economic Development, Estate Planning and Management, Public Works Planning, Transport Planning and Traffic Management, Environmental and Natural Resources Management, Public Private Partnership, Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Concepts and Strategies, Strategical Environmental Assesment, Smart Growth/Green Urbanism, among the other topics.

This program is set on 27-31 May 2019 at UP SURP, Diliman, Quezon City.

WHAT : A Basic Course in Urban and Regional Planning (ABC in URP)

WHEN : 27-31 May 2019, from 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.

WHERE : UP SURP Cariño Hall, UP Diliman, Quezon City

HOW MUCH : The registration fee is PhP 15,000.00 per participant. For every group of five participants registering together, we will give a group discount of PhP 1,000.00 off for each member (PhP 5,000.00 total discount) if they register on or before 10 May 2019.

HOW TO APPLY : Registrants are required a non-refundable downpayment of PhP 2,000.00 upon submission of accomplished registration form. Scanned proof of payment must be uploaded on the registration portal. You may deposit your payment at UP Planning and Development Research Foundation, Inc.
